Cookies
Two cookies, both necessary, neither used to follow you anywhere.

What is set
- Your sign-in. A random value that tells the page it is you. It lasts thirty days, or until you sign out, and it holds nothing about you — the details stay on the server, so signing out really does end it.
- A form token. A short-lived value on the sign-in and request pages that stops another website submitting a form on your behalf. It lasts two hours.
What is NOT set
No advertising cookies. No analytics cookies. No cookies from any other company, because no other company's code runs on this page.
Turning them off
You can clear or block them in your browser. The page will still be readable, but you will not be able to sign in — the sign-in cookie is the sign-in.
